Wired, networked, inquiring-minded people of the night who would work at a problem until the early morning hours. They could have been hackers, some of them were. Some became digital artists.
There is nothing like the smell of pixels in the morning. Or around lunch. Or in the afternoon. Midnight? Aahhh, who am I kidding; I got used to screen tanning and staying awake until 0400 in the friggin' morning ages ago. Sooo worth it...
My name is Jan Boerger, I was made and raised in Germany and am currently studying digital media at the Billy Blue College in Sydney, Australia. Besides fighting uni induced insomnia, I am freelancing, running stencils.ch and doing club photography.
